Announcing Batch 7 of Cronos Ecosystem Grants
We are excited to announce the seventh batch of the Cronos Ecosystem Grant Recipients!
We established the Cronos Ecosystem Grants Program back in December 2021 with two clear goals in mind:
To support early-stage projects on Cronos by bootstrapping initial product development and providing monetary, technical, and marketing support
To align incentives together with new builders and teams by helping their projects grow together with the broader ecosystem
One key criterion of the grants was that projects had to build innovative products, especially within an underserved vertical within Cronos. For this seventh batch of Cronos Ecosystem Grant, we received a total of 250 applications and have narrowed it down to 6 projects.
Batch 7 features 6 exciting gaming projects that will be building out games catered to the #CROfam. Gaming, being one of the key pillars of Cronos, has been rapidly growing as more gaming studios look to target the massive #CROFam user base on the chain.
Without further ado, let’s dive right in!
Grant Recipient #1: Crypto Blades
Crypto Blades is a multi-chain Play-to-Earn web-base Role Playing Game. The core of the game revolves around rewarding players with SKILL tokens after defeating enemies and participating in raids. They can hire additional characters, forge unique weapons, and reforge those weapons to increase their overall power. Players can also trade their characters and weapons on an open marketplace.
Crypto Blades will be expanding their game and integrating Cronos Mainnet.
Grant Recipient #2: Ryoshi Tales (Ebisus Bay)
Ryoshi Tales, by Ebisu’s Bay, is a mobile resource management game, playable on Android and iOS, best played on a tablet device!
Players get to see their civilization evolve all the way from the prehistoric age to future eras while producing, trading, and battling against other players. Ryoshi Tales boasts a large variety of tasks that can be undertaken based on resource gathering, building structures, and creating unique items and units.
Ryoshi Tales is expected to launch on Cronos in Q3 2023.
Grant Recipient #3: Atlantis (Argo)
Atlantis, by Argo Protocol, is a web-based resource strategy game catered towards the Argonauts community.
Atlantis will offer unique gamified NFT experiences for users to go on Planets expeditions and races.
Atlantis is expected to launch on Cronos in Q2 2023.

Sky Bandit is a play to earn fantasy hero-like parkour fighting mobile game. Players operate the hero to face the enemies who are constantly raiding in the air.
Sky Bandits will be integrating Cronos by Q2 2023.

Cronos (cronos.org) is the leading EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain network built on the Cosmos SDK, supported by Crypto.com, Crypto.org, and more than 500+ app developers and partners. Cronos is building an open ecosystem where developers can create their own DeFi and GameFi applications, targeting a base of 80+ million users globally.
