Cronos mainnet and testnet upgraded. The Cronos mainnet has been updated to v0.7.0 (major upgrade ‘Huygens’) then v0.8.0, while the testnet is iterating on v0.9 in preparation of the next major mainnet upgrade which should be v1.0. Meanwhile, a separate Pioneer 11 testnet has been launched, specifically to advance the development of the Gravity Bridge between Cronos and Ethereum. That said, if you’d like to bridge your funds between Cronos and other networks, a Crypto.com account remains the safest and most convenient solution.
The list of developer tools integrations is growing. Cronos dApp developers have access to a wide range of end-user wallets, multi-sig wallets, cloud providers, analytic tools, fiat/crypto onramps (Transak, Banxa), and other tools. See the full list here, and contact Cronos Labs if you have questions.
Cronos Labs has several initiatives in the pipeline to increase the visibility of Cronos dApps. We are working on ways to increase the number of AMA sessions and improve the discovery of Cronos dApps, while continuing to raise the bar with respect to the transparency of projects, so that users can do their research. Developers, make sure that you publish your docs, repositories and audits, and verify all your smart contracts on Cronoscan. Learn more.
Meanwhile, don’t forget to register your project on cronos.org. If you have launched a new dApp or service on Cronos chain, please visit the Cronos ecosystem page in order to register it in the public database of projects.
The Cronos Chain Ambassador (CROnauts) Program officially launched on 5th Sept 2022. If you are keen on contributing to the development of the Cronos community and ecosystem, you can find out more here or in the Cronos Discord Server.
