Ushering The Blockchain x AI Revolution on Cronos
What will you create with AI agents on Cronos?
A few days ago, Cronos announced an exciting roadmap putting AI agents front and center when it comes to ushering a new era of mainstream blockchain adoption. (More details about the roadmap have been published in the docs).
The future is exciting! In fact, it has already started.
Let's take a look at some of the most inspiring products and tools already available on Cronos today, that leverage generative AI and AI agents to enhance the user and developer experience.
CorgiAI
Launched in March 2023, CorgiAI is one of the leading projects on Cronos, and the first that brought AI-generated NFTs to the ecosystem.
While its origins lie in meme culture, CorgiAI has evolved into a comprehensive AI platform that enables users to create, trade, and earn through unique NFTs on the Cronos blockchain.
Initially launched on Cronos EVM, the project has expanded its presence to Cronos zkEVM, Ethereum, and Solana.
Key metrics:
7,000+ minted AI NFTs
62,000 AI images generated
10,000 unique wallet interactions
2.5M CRO in trading volume
CorgiAI has delivered several exciting use cases of generative AI in recent months:
Custom AI Model Training: specialized models generating brand-aligned NFT artwork
Prediction Market: generate your own AI NFTs to record your predictions on the blockchain
Creative Suite: AI-powered tools for marketing asset generation across multiple media formats
The near-term roadmap includes even more inspiring planned releases:
Using LLM power to enhance user prompts and improve image quality
Automate AI model training to enable custom models per project (such as NFT collections, partnerships, marketing campaigns)
Empower creators to monetize personalized AI collections
Nexabot AI
Nexabot AI (@thenexabot) is the leading Telegram-based trading bot on Cronos EVM, with expansion to Cronos zkEVM in progress.
With Nexabot AI, users can:
Trade tokens on Cronos: enter tokens by ticker or contract address; get information such as the market cap, price, and 24h volume; buy/sell with CRO; get position information of current holdings; customize slippage tolerance.
Deposit, withdraw, and authenticate with the hybrid-custody ERC4337 Wallet: dual-party authentication via Google/Apple cloud and the users’ Telegram account. Users have the ability to switch between auto and manual approval mode
Manual mode: sign every transaction via authentication on the web app.
Auto mode: transactions are immediately sent out without requiring signing every single time.
Access the AI news query tool: query any token name or ticker; receive the 3 latest news articles with a short summary and source, each with an individual sentiment score, along with a summarized sentiment score of all articles.
It is still early days for this ambitious project. The near-term roadmap includes the following initiatives.
AI On-chain Recon. The AI agent will read and understand wallet positions and activities queried by the user. The LLM embedded into Nexabot will generate a summary of the wallet, list of positions, or list of top wallets in a specified category of activity. Examples of user question may include:
“Give me the top 10 holders of CorgiAI?”
“What are the top 5 token holdings of my wallet #3?”
“What were the last 5 swaps of this wallet?”
AI Smart Money Intel. The AI agent will monitor specified on-chain activity on the users’ behalf, and notify them when relevant. Examples of user instructions may include:
“Notify me when wallet [0x…] sells any amount of VVS”
"Notify me when a new liquidity pool gets created on H2 Finance"
AI Trading Operator. The AI agent will execute transactions on the users’ behalf based on user specifications and on-chain monitoring insights. This feature will rely on agent-controlled wallets with customizable spend limits. Examples of user instructions may include:
"Copy any trade from wallet [0x…] when they buy for more than $100 of a token that they did not own already."
"Buy $1000 of MERY with DCA (dollar-cost averaging), split the purchase into 10 hourly transactions."
Crypto.com AI Agent SDK
The Crypto.com AI Agent SDK, which already supports Cronos zkEVM and Cronos EVM chains, is a powerful tool that enables developers to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into their Web3 projects.
Using either the PyPi or the NPM package, developers can create AI agents on behalf of their users. These agents can read the blockchain and initiate transactions, opening a world of possibilities for their applications.
The AI Agent SDK is revolutionizing the way we interact with blockchain technology. By harnessing the power of natural language processing and machine learning, developers can build innovative applications that simplify complex blockchain actions. Here are just a few examples of the exciting use cases made possible by the SDK:
Blockchain data queries. Imagine being able to ask questions like "What's the current market capitalization of CRO?" or "What's the average transaction fee on the Cronos zkEVM network?" and receiving accurate, up-to-date answers in seconds. The Crypto.com AI Agent can transform user questions into actionable blockchain queries, generating valuable insights on market trends and implications.
Wallet management. Managing cryptocurrency wallets can be a daunting task, especially for newcomers to the space. The Crypto.com AI agent makes it easy to create crypto wallets, execute transfers, and manage addresses using simple text commands. Soon, they will be adding support for multi-signature wallets and account abstraction.
Payments. Developers can extend any AI functionalities to include blockchain features. Imagine being able to embed crypto payments into shopping, travel services, subscriptions, and more. For instance, a travel booking platform could use an AI agent to accept cryptocurrency payments and automatically convert them into fiat currency, streamlining the booking process for users.
Crypto trading. Developers can create and deploy smart contracts that interact directly with AI-driven trading insights. This enables automated execution of trades based on real-time market analysis, giving users a significant edge in the market. For example, imagine building a portfolio management application that uses machine learning algorithms to analyze market trends and automatically execute trades when certain conditions are met.
Crypto.com is offering a total of 20,000 USD in grants to developers who are building innovative solutions using the SDK. Visit DoraHacks before Nov 30, 2024 to apply.
Natural Language Queries using Google Web3 Cronos Datasets and LLMs
A few days ago, Cronos and Google Cloud announced an exciting multi-faceted partnership involving:
Onboarding of Google Cloud as a Cronos EVM chain validator;
Technical innovation with Google Cloud to enhance Cronos's performance;
Increasing developer adoption of Cronos and Google Cloud at the intersection of AI and blockchain;
Value creation package for startups of the Cronos Accelerator program.
Google Cloud's wide range of AI and data capabilities created unprecedented opportunities for app developers who wish to dive deeper into AI agent development, or even fine-tune their own LLM models.
How to get started? Well, as a developer, you can familiarize yourself with the Google Cloud and Cronos stacks by running this tutorial: Talk to Your Cronos Data: AI Agent based User Experiences for Blockchain Insights.
The tutorial shows how you can teach a LLM to answer questions in seconds about trading activity on Cronos zkEVM or Cronos EVM. It leverages the Cronos zkEVM and EVM datasets published on the Google Web3 portal, which store all blockchain data in a format that can be accessed quickly and easily using SQL queries.
By leveraging the power of AI, such as through Google Cloud's Vertex AI and Agent Builder, developers can create intelligent assistants capable of understanding natural language queries and interacting with blockchain data.
This empowers end-users to navigate complex information and extract valuable insights in a user-friendly manner.
Next steps
We are still in the early days of the AI agent era.
Ultimately, users and businesses will simply define their goals, and deploy a wide range of semi-autonomous AI agents powered by Cronos to achieve these goals.
All developers are encouraged to build apps through which end-users can delegate repetitive tasks to AI agents. We can't wait to see what the community will create!
